You know you recently moved out for the first time when...
...you make sure to leave the oven door open as the oven is cooling down to heat up your apartment because you already paid for the electricity to heat up the oven.
...you attack the bathroom with your brand new bucket and "green" cleaner only to discover that (surprise!) you actually have to buy a toilet brush and no, your old toothbrush will not do the trick.
...you find great encouragement in Hebrews 11:13-16: "These [Abel, Cain, Noah, Abraham, Sarah] all died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledge that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return. But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city."
